Hi, my name is Jordi Rivera Prince and I am currently an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Tulane University. My expertise lies in bioarchaeology, mortuary archaeology, the archaeology of Andean South America, Historic New England, and social inequality in coastal fishing communities. I have further interests in contemporary archaeological theory, community engaged practice, and equity in archaeological practice as applied in my ongoing archaeological and bioarchaeological research.

My work is founded on two interrelated objectives: 1) to better address inequality in the present, we need to understand its manifestations in the past, and 2) we cannot study the past (especially histories of inequality), in an effective manner unless we address inequities in current archaeological practice.

Hola, soy Jordi Rivera Prince y actualmente soy Profesora Asistente de Antropología en Tulane University. Soy experta en la bioarqueología, la arqueología mortuoria, la arqueología de los Andes, la Nueva Inglaterra histórica, y la desigualdad social en las comunidades pesqueras costeras.
