Hi, my name is Jordi Rivera Prince and I am currently a Brown University Presidential Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Anthropology. My expertise lies in bioarchaeology, the archaeology of Andean South America, and social inequality, with further interests in contemporary archaeological theory, feminist archaeology, and equity in archaeological practice as applied in my ongoing archaeological and bioarchaeological research in the Andes region of Peru.

My work is founded on two interrelated objectives: 1) to better address inequality in the present, we need to understand its manifestations in the past, and 2) we cannot study the past (especially histories of inequality), in an effective manner unless we address inequities in current archaeological practice.

Hola, soy Jordi Rivera Prince y actualmente soy Postdoctoral Fellow Presidencial de la Brown University en el Departamento de Antropología. Soy experta en la bioarqueología, la arqueología de los Andes y la desigualdad social, con mayores intereses en la teoría arqueológica contemporánea, la arqueología feminista, y la equidad en la práctica arqueológica aplicada en mi investigación arqueológica y bioarqueológica en curso en la región de los Andes del Perú.
